"The Kids in the Hall" are a sketch comedy troupe, set apart by their cross-dressing antics and seemingly infinite supply of unique characters. Although writer Paul Bellini, various extras, and sometimes even an actual woman appear in the sketches, for the most part, the five main cast members portray every single character themselves. Recurring characters range from the harried corporate executive Danny Husk to Queen Elizabeth, from alienated teen rocker Bobby Tarrance to gay bar owner Buddy Cole, from occult TV show host Simon and his sidekick Hecubus to the gossiping corporate secretaries Cathy and Kathy, and an endless parade of others.

Curb your Enthousiasm
He's got it all: a loving wife, good friends, a successful career, a great home..what could possibly go wrong for Larry David? Seinfeld co-creator Larry David stars as himself in this hilarious, off-kilter comedy series that presents an unflinching, self-depreciating depiction of his life
Larry David | ....... as ........ | Larry David / ... (80 episodes, 2000-2011) |
Jeff Garlin | ....... as ........ | Jeff Greene (76 episodes, 2000-2011) |
Cheryl Hines | ....... as ........ | Cheryl David / ... (74 episodes, 2000-2011) |
Susie Essman | ....... as ........ | Susie Greene (48 episodes, 2000-2011) |

Shelley Berman | ....... as ........ | Nat David (13 episodes, 2002-2009) |
J.B. Smoove | ....... as ........ | Leon / ... (13 episodes, 2007-2011) |
The series stars Larry David as an extreme version of himself, accompanied by fictional re-creations of his actual friends, usually played by themselves. Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Wanda Sykes, and Richard Lewis all have recurring roles as characters based on themselves.
The show is set and filmed in various affluent Westside communities of (and occasionally downtown) Los Angeles, California, as well as the adjacent incorporated cities of Beverly Hills, Culver City and Santa Monica. David's actual place of residence was, and may still be (since his divorce from his wife Laurie), in the Pacific Palisades area of the Westside. During the run of the series, filming has been staged in various rented single-family residences around the Westside.
Although David maintains an office, he is rarely shown working, other than in Season 4 which centered on his being cast as Max Bialystock in the Mel Brooks play The Producers, and in Season 7 writing the Seinfeld reunion. Most of the show revolves around Larry's interactions with his friends and neighbors, with Larry often at odds with the other characters (usually to Larry's detriment). Despite this, the characters do not seem to harbor ill feelings toward each other for any extended period and the cast has stayed stable throughout the show.

Cybill
It's about a struggling, middle-aged actress attempting to make a career in Hollywood, all while surrounded by her hard-drinking best friend Maryann, her two ex-husbands, Ira and Jeff, and her two daughters, headstrong Zoey and agreeable Rachel. An old and funny comedy series.
Cybill Shepherd | ....... as ........ | Cybill Sheridan (87 episodes, 1995-1998) |
Christine Baranski | ....... as ........ | Maryann Thorpe (87 episodes, 1995-1998) |
Alicia Witt | ....... as ........ | Zoey Woodbine (87 episodes, 1995-1998) |

Danny Masterson | ....... as ........ | Justin Thorpe / ... (15 episodes, 1996-1998) |
Ray Baker | ....... as ........ | Dr. Richard Thorpe (11 episodes, 1997-1998) |
Shepherd portrayed the character of somewhat faded television actress Cybill Sheridan who, because of her age, had been relegated to playing character roles, bit parts and TV commercials. She had two daughters, Rachel and Zoey , and her best friend Maryanne whose heavy drinking and self-indulgent behavior provided much of the humor. For much of the series, Cybill's rival for acting jobs was Andrea , who was injured badly when Cybill accidentally shoved her down a hill. Tom Wopat and Alan Rosenberg appeared as Cybill's two ex-husbands, both of whom she had remained friends with. The show got respectable ratings throughout its run, but was abruptly canceled by CBS at the end of the 1997-98 season, amid allegations by Shepherd that the network was uncomfortable with Cybill's feminist leanings and frank depiction of female sexuality.

Thesy Surface | ....... as ........ | Margaret McPoyle / ... (5 episodes, 2006-2010) |
The series follows "The Gang", a group of five depraved underachievers who run Paddy's Pub, a run-down bar in South Philadelphia. They are dishonest, egotistical, selfish, greedy, unethical, lazy, arrogant and antagonistic, and are often embroiled in controversial issues. Episodes usually find them hatching elaborate schemes, conspiring against one another or others for personal gain or the pleasure of watching their downfall. Their tactics often rely on inflicting emotional and sometimes physical pain on individuals both deserving and undeserving. They regularly use blackmail and manipulate one another and others outside of the group. Their unity is never solid; any of them would quickly dump the others for quick profit or personal gain regardless of the consequences. Almost everything they do results in competition between them.
The title of most episodes is presented as a punchline tying in with the gag in the cold open. For example, in one cold open, Dee protests that whenever Frank hangs out with The Gang, someone gets hurt. Frank disagrees and asks "I'm just palling around with the guys, how's anyone going to get hurt?" Immediately the title card appears, reading "Frank Sets Sweet Dee on Fire". In the first season, the title of the show would show up before the title of the episode. Starting in season two, the title appears as the theme song starts, directly before the credits roll. The title is almost always a complete sentence describing the plot of the episode.

Thomas Wiederhold | ....... as ........ | Detective (12 episodes, 2010) |
Jennifer Besser | ....... as ........ | CSI (11 episodes, 2010) |
Dan Stark is a former big-shot detective who once saved the governor's son but is now all but washed up and spends most of his time reliving his glory days. However his hunches and odd ways of doing his job still seem to get the job done. He is shown to have a friendly relationship with the criminals he has arrested. Series creator Matt Nix describes Dan Stark as being "actually a fantastic 1981 cop. He just hasn't moved along with the time. CSI stuff is like black magic." Stuck in the past, he has a difficult time adjusting to new technologies, such as "computer machines" and "smarty phones." Dan lives in a trailer located "in the shadow of" the Texas Star Ferris Wheel in Fair Park. He often retells stories to Jack of the old days with his former partner Frank Savage , with whom he had a close buddy-cop relationship. He is reckless and unpredictable, and does not hesitate to use his handgun for any trivial matter, such as "using his service revolver to open a mayonnaise jar". He enjoys eating peanuts with the shell on, listening to Foghat, and chewing gum.
Jack Bailey is an ambitious by-the-book detective whose attitude has made him few friends on the police force. He still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend Liz Traynor, who he usually musters up the courage to talk to. Jack is usually calm-headed, preferring not to get his hands dirty at times when it is unnecessary. He admits to having attempted to grow a mustache to look tougher, but because only the middle part grew it looked like a "Hitler mustache." He gradually learns from Dan about the importance of a partner.

The opening credits show the five starring members of the show, but through that there are images of notable politicians and celebrities which are targeted in the titles. The titles are always the same except for two changeable titles, which targets persons in recent events. The closing credits simply read all the cast and crew of the show, though commonly a video is played over half the credits, which is explained in the Conclusion. The closing credits are a frequent (if bizarre) source of humour. For example Andrew Hansen once sang a song during the credits about how the credits are always played over his song. Another time the credits were shown in Ukrainian.
On one episode the credits of the show were replaced with the credits of The New Inventors. In another episode from Season 3, Chas Licciardello, who in a sketch had changed his name to Gvhftr Kijl, was credited as such in the closing credits for that episode, and in the opening credits of the following episode. Each episode begins with Reucassel and Taylor opening the show. The pair discuss the major recent events, present their opinions, and often show a pre-produced stunt or sketch.
Each episode starting from the last episode of season 1, member Andrew Hansen changes his hair weekly for the show (e.g Mohawks, coloured hair and at one instance, a small clock)
During season 2, the credits of names as displayed during the program have been replaced in various manners. Normally they were changed to people in recent events or a simple addition to the name. Examples included "Julian bin Morrow" and "Posh Chaser".
In almost every episode, the Chaser members discuss a various recent event or generalised stunt. Most of these dialogues lead to a pre-produced stunt, ad or trailer. Most of this material doesn't fall into one of the various Segments, where most of their recurring material is shown. In the first season, Monologues were also common.

Stan will go to extremes to protect his beloved America from harm; as evidenced by the terror-alert color code on his fridge, and his frequent knee-jerk reaction of shooting holes in the toaster whenever the toast pops up. In addition to Stan's wife and teenage children, the Smith household has two rather unconventional members. There's Roger, the sarcastic space alien who rescued Stan from Area 51 who deeply resents the fact that he's not allowed to leave the house, and therefore, has been reduced to drinking wine and smoking cigarettes, and Klaus, a lascivious, German-speaking goldfish; the result of a CIA experiment gone seriously wrong where the CIA tried to give a fish a German man's brain. Stan's son is a dorky teenager who tries to be cool. His wife has had a past life of sex and drugs.
